Five Stages of Physical Development

The Five Stages in the South of the Five Evolutionary States Overview Wheel describe the Physical Development (see Figure 8) of all humans. While we are in a physical body, we grow through these stages of physical development in order to achieve elemental balance. This wheel indicates our tonal 3rd dimension evolution and development. Each of the five states are critical learning periods of physical evolution within our own maturational development.

We start this wheel in the Center with Birth. We connect with the void element. We have just come from spirit and know this void element very well.

The next stage in the South is Childhood. Here we learn to balance our water element, and develop our emotional balance and control.

In the North we move into Adolescence. Here we seek to balance the wind element, and work on the development of our mind and mental coordination. This is the time when teenagers suddenly “know everything.”

In the West is Adulthood. It is the balancing of the earth element and physical aspect of the human being. Here is where the adult has the potential to gain strength, stability, and physical mastery.

Maturity is the stage which is in the East. The fire element is balanced and you gain your connecting link with spirit.

A human being must mature within each phase of development and leave the previous phase behind. If you do not complete each phase of each stage of development, the next phase will be unduly influenced by the previous one. For example, people who never pass from the childhood stage properly, will become senile instead of being mature when they chronologically move into the East.
