The teachings of the Human Flowering Tree and Luminous Egg Cocoon remind us that humanity is far more than the pain and struggles of its history. By learning the developmental and evolutionary stages of being human, we uncover a deeper understanding of our potential to transform and mature. These teachings challenge us to embrace both light and shadow, turning past experiences into fertile ground for growth. Through the Luminous Egg Cocoon, we can raise our Orende, reclaim our harmony, and step into the beauty of who we are meant to be.
In the last blog we’ve explored how our two physical eyes shape our perception and how emotions influence what we see. Now, let’s move beyond the physical and discover the spiritual eyes, each with a unique purpose that expands our understanding of the world.
The third eye is called the Psychic Eye. It is located at your forehead between your eyebrows. It sees into the world of spirit. It choreographs your own spiritual process, tracks psychic energy, and sees the Ancestors. Present always is the overlapping of this 3rd dimensional reality with the dream realities of the 4th and 5th dimensions. For us to see the different realities, we must have the 3rd eye open and activated.
The fourth eye is located in two places. The first, called the Heart Eye, is in the heart chakra, specifically in the aortic valve of the physical heart. It carries female energy. The second, called the Animal Eye, is located in the hollow opening underneath the knot at the base of your skull. It carries male energy.
The Heart Eye distinguishes truth from untruth with absolute clarity. It sees the interconnection of animals and humans and allows communication to occur. The messages from the Heart Eye are frequently known as intuition, instinct, or hunches. Thunderstrikes often talks about his grandmother’s an uncanny ability to catch him in lies when he was young. She would say to him, “Claude (that’s what she called him when he had done something wrong), you can’t tell those kinds of stories. You will begin to believe them.” She always knew when he was lying, because her Heart Eye was very developed.
The Heart Eye is acutely opened in mothers who are pregnant or have newborn children. Because of the interconnectedness between the mother and her child in the womb, her “seeing” is immediately transmitted to the child and vice versa. The mother needs all her senses for the child’s welfare, and the child who is connected to the world of spirit from which it just came transmits its “seeing” to the mother. All of the senses of the eyes and ears are activated.
Men can open their Heart Eye by developing their female side and becoming receptive to their creativity. Men develop their Heart Eye through their art. Michelangelo’s painting of the Sistine Chapel is an example of this.
The Animal Eye sees and recognizes reality as it actually exists. It is part of being present in reality. There is no hesitancy in action. Psychologists know this eye as the fight or flee response. Men, women, or children who have been in combat or live in hunter/gatherer societies have a strong Animal Eye. You cannot function in this 3rd dimensional reality without it. When something really frightening happens, we say we feel the hair stand up on the back of our neck. We say it’s the Animal Eye getting the hair out of the way so it can see what’s going on.
The spiritual eyes connect us to higher dimensions, but what happens when we step into the realm of dreams and shadows? In the next post, we’ll examine the Shadow Dream Eye and more.
