DTMMS Scholarship Programs
A new initiative to support SMSD apprentices
BY ELLE PRICE
Fall 2025

TMMS is pleased to announce the launch of its scholarship programs; these programs are designed for dedicated apprentices, who are currently experiencing financial challenges to continue their gateway process, or on a fixed income, and would benefit from some support to continue on their spiritual journey.
In alignment with its 501(c)(3) non-profit status, DTMMS is creating these vital scholarship programs through funds from DTMMS Board contributions, the collective generosity and philanthropy of our apprenticeship and A-Road teachers. We are deeply grateful for our community’s dedication.
This initiative is just the beginning and underscores our commitment to making our SMSD Path accessible. It is our intent to continue to build and expand the scholarship programs so that we may support our medicine brothers and sisters in the years to come.
USA Red Lodge Scholarship
Currently, tuition scholarships can be awarded to applicants for the Red Lodge USA program. Going forward, the Board intends to provide further scholarships to include other foundations or not-for-profit organizations, such as Red Lodge (Australia & Italy), Bravo, White & Gold Lodge Longhouses.
For more information about USA Red Lodge scholarships in Phoenix, AZ, contact Wassim at redlodgeaz@dtmms.org.
Global Apprentice Fee Scholarship
Recognizing the unique needs of our apprentices, DTMMS has created a fund to offer assistance to all apprentices who are experiencing financial challenges, hardships or similar issues to pay the yearly apprentice fee.
There is also a scholarship initiative available specifically to assist all apprentices over 70 years on fixed incomes. This program aims to support these apprentices to continue to engage in their spiritual growth within our community.

FUELING THE FIFTH WORLD
Growing Stronger Together
As humanity moves through these times of challenge, the call for knowledge that works has never been more urgent or immediate. The teachings and wisdom of the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path offer a bright stream of light, hope and evolution for all spiritual seekers – keys to fully awaken our individual and collective dharma in this Fifth World.
You can help actualize this work.
Your donations, large or small, fuel and accelerate this dream.
Funding and Future Initiatives:
These vital scholarship programs are made possible through the collective generosity of apprentices, A-Road teachers, the DTMMS Board and the DTMMS Annual Benefit at the end of the year.
If you would like to partner with us by contributing to the Longhouse Scholarship Fund and/or the Apprentice Fee Scholarship Fund, your support will directly enable individuals to pursue their spiritual development aspirations. It is the intent of these initiatives to support all levels of the Longhouses globally. Your contribution makes a difference!
For more information about a tax-deductible contribution to these initiatives, contact Elle: scholarships@dtmms.org
All donations; big and small, directly support our medicine brothers and sisters on their Path with Heart. Together, we can build a brighter future by continuing to share knowledge that works!
In gratitude,
