Almost 10 years ago, as a novice board member, I imagined we could have live video and audio products to gift the world the teachings of the Sweet Medicine SunDance path. It’s a dream that I’ve always had and continues to be present with me to this day.

Fall 2025
The magnificence, beauty and power of our lineage and teachings motives me and moves my spirit to this day. It’s still the prime motivator for my work ethic and drive to get our teachings out and available for everyone to hear, see and read.
In January, the DTMMS Board sent a request to the Hereditary Lineage Leaders (HLL) proposing that selected teachings be made available via YouTube and podcasts to share our teachings more widely and embody our motto “Share Knowledge That Works”. See part of the letter below:
“The DTMMS Board of Directors is requesting permission to air on YouTube teachings (30-60 minutes in length) for promotional purposes that promote the SMSD Path and increase the interest in our programs. The goal is to reach out to the public with contemporary communication methods and make it easy with conventional technologies information for the public to find our teachings. The second goal is to create content to improve our reputation management issue in relationship to the Deer Tribe.”
In the Spring of 2025, we were granted permission by the HLL and I, as the producer of the podcast program, started the process of setting up the DTMMS.TV channel on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and iHeart Radio. With Dianne “Nightbird” Reagan as my stands-behind and lineage advocate, we started the process. As anyone familiar with production knows, it’s quite a birthing process to produce a show (podcast) some of which includes getting the graphic package designed, branding & marketing, script writing & approvals, talent selection not to mention the selection of an excellent podcast company (“FinancialPotion.com” with Taylor Wellman) to assist me in the backend production of the products.
We were fortunate to have a very qualified, trained actor and presenter Nicola Samad, that I have known for years, right within our reach and Nicola agreed to volunteer her time and service to this project. Everyone involved with this project has volunteered their Maku freely, sharing this beacon of light enabling us to continue this programming– apart from the podcast company and some DTMMS staff employees.
It was during the U.S. Vision Quest ceremony in June of 2025 that things really took off. I understand now that I am, and continue to be, inspired by the light of the Soul Shining Maku Child – that this Maku child informs and teaches me how to bring my beauty into my work. I thank Great Spirit for the inspiration and energy to continue.
More about the birthing of the DTMMS.TV channel, Janneke Koole graciously accepted the request for the first podcast interview on “What is the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path?” parts 1 and 2. We launched the channel in July of 2025. Since then, Janneke’s podcasts has almost 2K views on YouTube.
Naide Bruno’s interview on the “Sweet Medicine SunDance Path and it’s Healing “parts 1 & 2 has earned the DTMMS.TV channel almost 1.6 views and it continues to grow.
Clearly, we have an audience, and our viewers continue to grow.
I share my birthing dream of the DTMMS.TV channel and hope you continue to follow your dreams, passion and desires. I extend my gratitude and thank everyone who continues to donate their time, energy, financial resources, and dedication to the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path for the continuation of our Path for the next 7 generations.
