THE COUNTING COUP WHEEL

Part of our Tyrants blog series where you will learn the many faces of the tyrants. You will learn about the other tyrants of life like time, situations, space and the environment. You will also learn about the people called “Two-Legged Tyrants” and what their focus is for tyranting you. You will clearly see how you opened the door and let the tyrant in. Best of all, this series teaches you how to stop any tyrant from stealing your life force energy and how to count coup and gain the true teaching for both you and the tyrant.

COUNTING COUP WHEEL

This wheel represents what you must hold in order to count coup on any of the tyrants.

In the south, you must assume authority for your actions. What is important here is to keep your emotions fluid when dealing with a tyrant. That means that if you make an emotional decision and take action on it in regards to a tyrant, that you assume authority for it. For example, if you are faced with an anger, rage provoking tyrant, assuming authority for your actions means that you will keep your communication clear, see how this tyrant is provoking you, and make the appropriate action to count coup on that tyrant to get the true teaching for that tyrant being in your space. You must hold your one-point and keep emotional balance and control.

In the west is maturity and responsibility. To deal with tyrants takes a great deal of maturity not to turn into a tyrant yourself and begin to tyrant self and others in the same way. You must take responsibility for your physical space and how you deal with the tyrant within that space. For example, you are dealing with an exasperating, bothersome, nuisance, petty tyrant who is constantly borrowing something from you. To have maturity means that you will set the proper boundaries and limitations and not let this tyrant monopolize your time and space.

In the north, see reality for what is presented to you, for what is presented to you may not be reality. It is important to be very clear about the nature of what comes into your circle. This means stay out of RCD (reality cognitive dissonance). Stay out of your own projections and just deal with what the tyrant is actually presenting to you from what you know of their agenda. Also observe the tyrant from four different points of perception and see clearly the game they are running.

In the east is determination and creativity. Stand accountable. This means that you must be determined to receive and give the lessons this tyrant is bringing to you. Deal with the situation creatively. And whatever your actions are, be the best teacher for yourself and the tyrant that you can be and in this way stand accountable.

In the center, you must walk your talk. Simply this means to do what you say you will do. For each one of the tyrants there is a specific way to stop them. For you to walk your talk means that when facing this tyrant you hold to the line of what will count coup on the tyrant. For example, if you are dealing with a borrower who is a petty nuisance and you set down the rules in order for them to borrow from you again, if they don’t follow the limitations and boundaries you have set for them, you will not lend them anything again. You must walk your talk in what you say you will and will not do.

In the next blog we will look at five skills needed to engage a tyrant effectively and get an energy boost.
