We learned that the Star Maidens Circle gave us viewing points from eight different reflections called the Wheel of Life. As such, each position of the Star Maidens Circle exerts important influences over us during our progression through life. This teaching on the Moon Cycles illustrates how we, as humans, travel around this Wheel of Life in cycles of learning and development. This is a key driver wheel for the Five Stages of Physical Development, which you will learn about in our upcoming blogs.
The Moon Cycles is a very beautiful system that precisely describes the cycles of these influences for each year of our lives, starting at birth. Through conscious awareness of which aspect is present at a given time, we can utilize the energies of this aspect to gain deeper insights about ourselves and thus further our growth. Every three years we complete one walk around the wheel, called a Circle of Life Experience. Every 4.5 months we shift the direction of our viewing point on that wheel. We enter each Circle of Life Experience through the South and 3 years later exit through the East. The Southeast (place of our true nature spirit personality) is bypassed. This is our internal, subjective attitude and approach, which we carry with us all around each Circle of Life Experience.
The Star Maidens Circle gives us 8 different reflections or viewing points: the Wheel of Life. The Moon Cycles show how we move around this Wheel of Life in cycles of learning.
The one exception to this is the very first Circle of Life Experience. At 4.5 months, inside the womb, the spirit personality enters the body of the fetus. (See Figure 2.) At that point, it picks up its true nature spirit and its concepts of self, life, and others, as well as its attitude and approach toward life. It looks directly across the wheel into the Northwest, into its Book of Life and what it has written for this lifetime. Then it is born as a child into the East of the Center Circle of Life Experience of the South Moon and continues clockwise around the wheel. This is the only time in the Moon Cycles that the Southeast is crossed externally. We are born out of the East and travel clockwise around the first Circle of Life Experience.
From then on, our travels around the Circles create a spiral of evolution.
