The healing ceremony uses shamanic techniques to work with the symptoms as well as the causes of the illness. Techniques can include crystal and other doctoring, body paintings, sand paintings, and sacred healing chants. These can help the individual balance their energy fields, release blocks, encode archetypal healing images into the chakras and deepen their awareness of patterns.

The process of the ceremony can offer reflections about choices made and why they may have created the illness or disease, where and how one desires to change one’s life to heal, and what’s needed to initiate the changes.
