Three Arrows

Opportunities for Advanced Apprentices

Three Arrows is designed for apprentices who have completed all or most of the first 3 Gateways, or who have begun 4th Gateway work. It provides advanced training in three arenas that are key to maturity in one’s medicine and successful completion of the 4th Gateway.

Healing Training

Completion of the 4th Gateway requires extensive work in the healing paradigm. Participation in healing ceremonies will include work-up of healing intakes; establishing clear goals and comprehensive preparation for your role in the ceremony. Individual and group evaluation is offered when the ceremony is complete. Dance Chief training is available for Sacred Pipe Carriers working on their 4th Gateway requirements.

Leadership Applications

Our work includes application of Wheels & Keys related to leadership skills, attributes and styles; accurate assessment of your personal leadership abilities and regular evaluation of your performance as a leader.

The academic year consists of three weekends in metro Detroit.

Program Facilitators

Naide Bruno, DC ND, is the author of the manual on the SMSD Healing Paradigm.  She is an A Team Roadperson and an instructor in Red Lodge Italy and the Phoenix Internship program.

Debbie Mast, RN MSN is a Lodge Leader, an A Team Roadperson, an instructor in Red Lodge Calgary, and the Bravo White Lodge Longhouses in Michigan and Calgary.
